About

Built in the Courtroom

I spent more than 15 years handling litigation in Florida state and federal courts. I have handled more than 160 trials to verdict, with responsibility spanning case assessment, investigation, motion practice, witness preparation, evidentiary issues, trial strategy, and courtroom presentation.

My career includes service as an Assistant State Attorney and Assistant United States Attorney. That work required managing substantial caseloads, developing cases with law enforcement, preparing civilian, medical, and forensic witnesses, addressing admissibility issues, negotiating resolutions, and preserving issues for appellate review.

I am licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.

Experienced Trial Counsel for Lawyers

I bring more than 15 years of litigation and trial experience, including more than 160 trials to verdict and work in state and federal courts.

My experience includes responsibility for complex trials, witness and expert examinations, evidentiary issues, motion practice, jury selection, and courtroom strategy.

I put that experience to work for other lawyers and law firms when a matter needs additional trial capability. The role is defined for the matter and designed to work alongside the hiring lawyer and existing team.

Outside the practice, I value time with my family, service in my church and community, and outdoor activities and sports. Those parts of my life reinforce the same things I value professionally: preparation, reliability, clear communication, and treating people with respect.

A Practice Shaped by Trying Cases

Trial work changes how I evaluate a case: what can be proved, what will be admitted, how witnesses will hold up, and what must be preserved.

An engagement may involve evaluating a case before trial, preparing a particular witness or issue, sharing courtroom responsibilities, or assuming broader trial responsibility. The scope changes. The obligation to understand the case and prepare it thoroughly does not.

Preparation. Judgment. Execution.
